Another way to make your book unique is to add a one of a kind jewel and/or piece of antique hardware.. I have done this for years on my own books. Some can be adhered to the front cover, and others can be suspended from a strap or loop as I have done on some of the one-of-a-kind ancient books on this web site. In general smaller books look best with smaller pieces, and Huge books and Family Bibles look best with large antique hardware such as locks and hinges.
