Cloth Fragments
Here are some of the beautiful fragments of very old book covers that are not leather. They are very beautiful and make a unique addition to leather books. I've used them for years on my own books and books I sold in my shop, Old Leather and Dried Roses in Cambridge, Mass.
The first picture is one of my own books with cloth or paper fragments, which I actually use more often than leather fragments because of their durability. If you want to design a book using old leather from a motorcycle or other leather jacket, using intricate collage, please call or email.
