I have had a lot of inquiries about the rough quality of some of my custom books, so I have been saving the edges of hides so I can use them as trim. Here are examples of rough leather in a coordinating color as they would look applied to the edge of a book. It adds dimension and texture, and gives a rustic quality to the book, and of course, no two are alike.
