Before binding your book in leather, I can carefully cut out a fragment of your original cover and add it to the new leather cover. The first picture shows how I cut some beautiful gold-tooled pieces from a 100-year old broken bible cover. (Some of these are seen on the "Gold Fragments" page). The other two pictures are examples of original fragments adhered to a new leather cover: one is The Prophet by Kahlil Gibran, and the third is an old book of fairy tales cross-stitched into a cover with original fragment on the cover.
