The spirit of Old Leather Books as I first envisioned them, is embodied in this binding. I used the five raised bands of the original medieval style books, but stretched them over part of the front and back covers to exaggerate their bulk and substance. Then I added two knots and loops to the front and back covers to emphasize the precious nature of the book that needs to be securely enclosed. A name can be added can be added to the lower right corner. A monogram also looks beautiful. I hope you love this book as much as I do.
