Send your book, up to 6 x 8 inches and up to 1 inch thick. (THIS BINDING DOES NOT WORK FOR THICKER BOOKS) For this style, I remove the covers, wrap the part of the spine that will show under the stitching with handmade pastepaper, and cross stitch the book into 2 pull-up leather covers. Because the leather pieces can be gold-stamped before stitching, I can stamp in the center.
I love to cross-stitch childrens' books into pull-up leather and decorate them with fragments of the original covers. I've given friends and family their childhood books preserved this way as keepsakes. You can add a fragment of the original cover, or one of ours.
