Many of us have seen pictures of gorgeous Medieval Bibles and Books of Hours. The hallmark of these holy books is the care in craftsmanship and beauty of their details. Details often included golden clasps and gold tooling on "leather labels" applied to the spine.
I have designed these Medieval Style bindings in that spirit. I have bound beautiful gilt-edged bibles in glove-soft brown leather, and added five raised bands to the spines.
They look beautiful with or without additional details.
