I was able to salvage the New Testament from a huge (9 x 12) Family Bible, and cross stitched it into 2 pull-up leather covers bound with a strap.  I gold-stamped the flap with a medieval clasp design, and because it is a New Testament, I added a the title from an old Life of Chirst. Handmade paper warpped around the spine shows through the cross-stitching.
