Add a one or two line name. The typeholder is limited to 18 letters per line. You can also use words that are no more than 18 characters such as the words "Soli Deo Gloria" shown here. Anything larger than a 2 line name will have to be treated as a title.
I own some very old lead type that is out of production which have one or more letters missing, but I think it is so beautiful that it's worth using. Take this into consideration when choosing your font:
MEDIEVAL TYPE---- is missing the capital letter "U."
YONKERS TEXT SERIES, very rare font, 1/2" tall, last shown in the 1898 ATF Type Catalogue, is missing the capital letters A, E, J, P, V, Z.
CURSIVE TYPE, 3/8 inch tall, is missing capital "S."
Don't forget to choose your font style and whether you want gold OR blind embossing (just the imprint with no gold as shown in the first picture). The first picture shows Medieval and Yonkers Series, second picture shows cursive, and third picture shows Goudy.
Write the name in the box provided to your left.
