Stack of Books

Bookbinding is a contemplative practice for me. When I need renewal, I lay out interesting found objects along with leather and different size bibles, old and new, and see what will emerge. I had some hardware from an old trunk and box, some old locks and keys, medallions from an Egyptian camel saddle, some gorgeous heavy silky black leather, and rough pieces of old pull-up leather.
