Making Large Medieval Books

The most common question I get is how long it takes me to make a book. The answer varies greatly depending on what style, what size, and most importantly, how many similar books I can work on at one time. I like to make at least half a dozen similar style books at a time for efficiency. That way, I can prepare and cut materials and do similar processes, and allow the process to unfold using specific tools and materials to make the best use of my small workbench day by day.
